"Youre not due til July?!"

Im a waitress, and today at work i was asked 6 times by customers when my due date is. I told them all July 24th, to which they responded with, "what?! But youre so big already!" 😓 oh? Am i? Thanks guys. The first time or two i just laughed it off but i intend to work up until i cant... listening to the comments and questions is going to get so annoying.

If there is one thing that I’ve learned with this pregnancy... people are assholes. They need to say “wow, you look great mama!”  Keep those other comments to themselves.

I feel your pain mama! I am a waitress as well and I always get weird looks or rude comments on my belly size when I tell people I’m not due until July 24th. My favorite is people telling me I’m not going to make it that long. Because they are doctors and can tell just by size that I’ll go into labor early 🙄🤦🏼‍♀️

I’m due July 25th and I get the same reactions they just think I’m to small to be that pregnant 
Some people are just rude and don’t realize everyone comes in different sizes and not everyone looks the same when they are pregnant

I work in a gym and get those same comments constantly. People just don’t think! Sometimes I dread going into work because I’m just not in the mood to hear about how huge I am from 5 different people. As if I needed the reminder!

Also due July 24!!! With my first pregnancy people always said omg you are so tiny and would go on and on about how lucky I was to be so small or “carrying so well.”
Well, this go around let’s just say I have not had one tiny nor lucky comment lol 
People think I am having this baby tomorrow and when I tell them I have roughly 10 weeks left most of their jaws drop. I then have to comfort them and let them know that I am going to be okay and that women have been doing this since the dawn of time and everything is going to be okay. People are just dramatic

I have the opposite problem. When I tell people I’m due Aug 2nd many people respond by asking “when are you finally going to pop”, or I still get many of my coworkers saying, “oh I didn’t even know you were pregnant.” Maybe it’s weird but I want people to know I’m pregnant. My stomach is definitely bigger than it was 7 months ago and I don’t want people to think I’m just fat or have a beer gut. At the end of the day every bump is different and you have to just take people’s comments with a grain of salt. It’s not personal.

When I was a waitress my friend was pregnant with twins so it started early for her. She had fun with it and would either say she didn’t know what they were taking about, cry or say due tomorrow. She would always say that people meant well but ultimately were too oblivious to get that it could be insensitive. A lot of people would feel bad and would tip her more... one couple felt so bad that they went out and bought her a baby gift AND a cake for everyone working (for “all the people helping her”)
