Do you expect a gift from your child on Mothers Day!

My family never wanted or expected anything on Holidays! But my SO and his family do. His mom gets REALLY offended! Do you? Why?

I grew two babies, gave birth and dealt with the endless sacrifices of motherhood. You better believe I expect something, whether it be store bought or handmade idc.

I would never expect any type of gift from anyone. Would it be nice? Hell yes. But am I going to be petty and go have a child tantrum about it? Fuck no. A simple “happy Mother’s Day “ would’ve sufficed

I don't expect it but I do love the hand made gifts from my daughter since she's only 10. My husband does usually buy me something that I want for mother's day. Our moms get cards and hand made gifts from our daughter.
