I just can't with my MIL 🤦‍♀️

So we stopped by each side of the family yesterday for mother's day & while visiting my husbands side, his mom excitedly showed me the outfit she plans to wear at my shower. It was not my taste at all, which is expected.. bc different generations, ect. However, I told her how great it would look on her and gave nothing but compliments. So I made the mistake of then showing her my options of dresses I'm still deciding between for the shower. One of the dresses is a bodycon, mid calf length, covers all chest area (very appropriate in my opinion)..and she just wouldn't shut up about how much she hates "those tight fitting dresses" and how "back in the day no one wore that stuff because it squishes the baby..blahblahblah" 🙄 soo yep, never showing her anything I like again.
