Baby Carrier??

Question

Hello everyone, my family is going to be taking a trip soon & would like to buy a carrier for our 4.5 month old (when we go) but would like recommendations! My husband would like to carry him but is a bigger dude about 250lbs, I'm about 160 so we would need one to fit both of us! Thanks everyone!

I highly recommend Lillebaby carriers. I'm 5'4" 125lbs, my husband is 6'1" 240lbs and we both share the same carrier. Readjusting isn't ideal, but it's still way more convenient and feels better on my back than the wrap we used to use.

A wrap is the easiest way to guarantee it fits both of you. More structured carriers will fit both of you but you will have to readjust it every time it switches people and it becomes a huge hassle. If you get a wrap or fabric type carrier make sure you take into account the general temperature and get a fabric to suit. You don't wanna overheat the baby in a thick fabric if you arw somewhere warm. We have a fabric ty3oe hybrid and a structured carrier. I use them both but it did take some time for baby to get used to them. She hated them at first so give yourselves enough time to let baby get used to it.

We use the ergo omni 360 for carrying my 3mth old and 2yo. I'm 210lb and it's super comfy. I have a friend who's about 130lb who uses it and a friend who's about 300lb who uses it and they both love them too.

I have 2 moby wraps and they’re The best. The only bad thing is that it gets a little too hot so I’m not sure it’d work good in hot climates.

Another vote for Lillebaby. I love my lilles. This is my airflow, which is my favorite right now since it’s getting warm out.

Highly recommend lillebaby and Tula. I have back issues, and the extra support on the lillebaby is a lifesaver. I also love our Tula though! As far as wraps, we have a boba and a moby, and I think the boba is so comfy and supportive, but I’m not much a fan of the moby!
