First time pregnant

So this morning I got a call from the nurse at my gyno and told me my count was at 38 and that she was guessing I was about 4 weeks and 4 days pregnant. Now she called me awhile ago and said that they were looking at my lab paperwork that came back. And now she is saying I’m only about a week and 4 days pregnant !!! I’m so confused and just want to cry because my husband and I have been trying for 8 years. And this our first ever positive!! And with me being “pregnant” for the first time ever I google everything. And at 1 week you’re not even pregnant? I probably sound so dumb and crazy but this is my first pregnancy and god knows how long we’ve been wanting this. I want our miracle baby. I want this to be for real. A good healthy 9 months.

Can anyone tell me if this is normal ? If I am in fact pregnant?. I am freaking myself out for no reason?
