My ex sent me this

Me ex sent me a message today worried that he saw my car that was in an accident. He texted me asking if I was okay..even though I had gotten a new car after the breakup. I replied saying I was and that I got a new vehicle and he texted me that he could think better knowing I was okay and “thank god you are okay”. He was super worried and acted like he cared. He then had to go back to work and responded with “it’s hard not to worry, you take care of yourself now”

What does this all mean?? Why is he texting me during no contact?
