Sex video with ex

What would you do ? It’s been three months since I saw a sex video of him and his ex girlfriend in his phone from three years ago .

I confronted him about why the video was still on his phone . He lied and said he forgot it was still there . I didn’t believe him but wanted him to tell me the truth . So I asked him for two days straight to tell me the truth . He stuck with his story . I then confronted him with all the evidence on why he could not forget . ( Showed him some dates On some other videos , showed proof on some new features on iPhones and etc ) and then he finally confessed and said he never lied about it and that he would never watch it .more lies . So I told him to quit while he’s ahead and lies will only piss me off more .

He fully confessed to everything . He begged for my forgiveness . And told me to give him another chance .

( We’re in a very serious relationship over 1 year and we’re on the same page about what we can or cannot do . )

I know he didn’t cheat but he betrayed me he had this video of this girl for over 3 years and the whole year we had been together . And his excuse was that he kept it because he didn’t know how serious we were going to get and because she hurt him . (Bulshit excuse and I told him )

What does that say about our relationship , his respect for me and my respect for him ?

Ever since then I haven’t been able to love him the same and I have been wanting to get back at him because I had never did him wrong .

Do I leave him do I still try to work things out ? How can I ?
