Ughhhhh

It’s my birthday. The only man I’ve ever truly loved told me he loved me yesterday before he hung up than when he came over he took my ring off me and told me he needed to see my finger as he was sliding the ring on my finger he asked me if I would go out with him. I’ve been waiting for this for a long time and I’ve told him multiple times if he ever asked me I’d say yes in a heartbeat, but I froze and instead of saying yes or no I asked him if he was sure that’s what wants he didn’t give me an answer. He left last night but was supposed to be coming back before 12 so he could be here for my birthday at 12am but he never showed up, I cried myself to sleep and woke up a little after 3am hoping he’d be here but he never showed. I tried calling him but his phone is either dead or turned off. My birthday is starting off horrible and I’m just ready for this day to end.
