What do they look for?

Question

When you go to the doctors after having a positive pregnancy test they take blood samples.
Do they test or look for everything else besides if you really are pregnant?
Cancers? Blood infections? 
I know they do the pregnant diabetes after a few months
Definitely asking when I go in but just wanted to see if any of you ladies went in finding more things out

I know they look at your blood type and if you are Rh - or positive so you can get the Rhogam shot if needed. And they just look at general blood work such as your white count for infections, hemoglobin and hematocrit to make sure you aren’t anemic. My doctor takes a urine sample every time as well to check for uti and my sugar in my urine. The last time I went I had some so she said I may possibly have to have my glucose test earlier.

My first blood test was strictly a confirmation test. Then at first real ob appointment they ordered all the other blood tests to check levels and blood counts and illnesses along with a urine test. I had 2 other blood test during pregnancy. 1 was for genetic testing at 12 or 16w  and the other was a levels check in the 3rd trimester that looked to see if anemic. I have had a very very normal pregnancy. And this was my facilities standard practice.
