False positive opk?

Hey guys I’m lost at what I’m meant to believe at the moment I have been off contraceptive for 8 months and the past 3 months I’ve had a regular cycle to the point of knowing exactly what signs to expect and when it got down to ewcm for 2 days then a positive opk the usual high open cervix but this month is confusing me I had ewcm and a high open cervix from the 8th until the 14th but I began testing with opk on the 12th and got a positive at 8pm on the 14th but the thing is that would mean the egg would have dropped at some point today which seems impossible since my cervix has been closed with no cm at all since yesterday morning do you think maybe I got a false positive and I actually ovulated in the days with a high open cervix and ewcm
