When did you tell your boss you’re pregnant?

Question

For those who are pregnant, congrats! I’m just curious, when did you give your notice that you were pregnant to your boss?
I read a general guideline that once you’re out of the 1st trimester (13+ weeks) you’re good to tell them. 
How soon did you tell them, and what was their reaction?
Any good pointers you can pass on?

I plan to tell mine early as I’m a carer in an elderly home so I have to make sure I’m doing things correctly and safely xxx

I told them at 11 weeks because I was offered an amazing promotion and had to turn it down. My boss asked me why and I couldn’t think of a good reason so I ended up spilling the beans!
I worked in assisted living and there’s a lot of lifting, smells, and illnesses not ideal for a pregnant woman to deal with. So I told them pretty early on. I ended up having some complications and left at 22 weeks. 
My bosses reacted SO positively. They both actually cried! They knew my struggles with conceiving and miscarriage and were completely supportive. 
Just be confident! Let them know right off the bat you are excited to be having a baby and do not be apologetic at all!

My boss is my dad, we work at a public school. So, he knew right away. I think I would tell my boss early either way. I’ve had an ectopic pregnancy that required surgery and a mc/d&c a few months later.... so I feel like any boss would need to know rather quickly in case something happened.

I ended up having to tell mine early. I was seeing a fertility and loss specialist and was being closely monitored with an appointment each week.
