Should I Join the Air Force?
Is the Air Force more accommodating for women who are married to a service member of a different branch? My husband is a Marine, and I am under the impression that the Navy and the Marines are more accommodating together because the Marines is affiliated with the Department of the Navy. I’ve done all my paperwork with the Navy, took asvab, and went through MEPS, but I have to return to MEPS after I get my wisdom teeth pulled to actually swear in. Buttt, I hear the Air Force is better for women, etc. So I’m a little on fence. I’m like 90 percent committed to joining the navy, however, I’m still curious about the Air Force.
I just wonder if because it didn’t work out the first time I went to MEPS for the Navy, is that a sign to go a different route.
