Hospital vent. Why am I so annoyed?!

I have a scheduled c section in 2 weeks. But I went to the hospital last night because I was having uncomfortable contractions about 6-7 minutes apart. I was in triage on the monitor and my contractions got down to 5 minutes apart. They checked my cervix and I wasn’t dilated at all. So they kept watching me for an hour and my contractions weren’t slowing down.

My doctor told triage to send me home and see what happens. Mind you, I live 30 minutes away and told them that! I contracted all night long. I ended up taking Tylenol PM and waking up this morning feeling like I was beat up last night, my body is soo sore. I’m annoyed that the cervix is end all be all. I NEVER dilated with my first. I went 10 days late and ended up being induced. It annoyed me the hospital will send you home knowing your suffering and basically say “oh well” 🤷🏼‍♀️
