Can 34 wk babies be born healthy?

Im currently 33 wks and im having a ton of health issues I've been in the hospital a total of 4 times recently for high bp and baby not being reactive during my NST. By the way my doctor has been talking im worried shes going to induce me within the next week or two. I previously had my son born early for the same issues at 36 wks and he was super healthy but he wasnt this early 😢😢😢😢 ive been an emotional wreck all week!!!

Yes they can, I have twins that was born at 34 weeks, there 5 years old now and perfectly healthy, they did not need help with anything. They only stayed in the hospital because they were born early.

In the hospital I work a 34 weeker that doesn’t need breathing support will go straight to Mom in the ward and won’t need to come to NICU at all. Hardly any need O2 and if they do it’s only for s short time - not even a full 24 hours. The main thing for these late preterms is keeping themselves warm and waking for feeds. Once they managed that you’ll be good to go.

I was born at 34 weeks almost 27 years ago (man that makes me feel old 😩). The only issue I had was my bilirubin being low, so I had to be under the bilirubin lights for a few days. Other than that I was a strong and healthy (and chunky 😂) 9lb 15½oz baby.

My twins were born at 34+6 due to preeclampsia. Needed 11 days in NICU, but have been perfectly healthy ever since! Good luck mama.

My little girl was born at 31+4 and she didn’t even need oxygen! She did stay in the NICU for over 3 weeks while she grew and learned to bottle feed. Its scary but everything will work out!

I'm in the same boat. I'm 33 weeks and i have high blood pressure. Havent done nst but i do have to get bpp have you gotten a bpp yet? Or are they the same thing lol my dr told me that if i did have to deliver the baby would be fine
