Opinions?

I am 19, and I live at home with my mom, older brother and two younger brothers. I don’t work because my family has only one car but I do most of the domestic work and I grow a large portion of our food.

My older brother is forever telling my mom whenever I’m talking to a boy which most of my friends are (I’m pansexual so the vandetta is only against boys) and my mom gets angry if I’m on my phone during the day.

I recently started talking to someone from my college and I really like him but I am fairly certain my family will get angry if I date him and make me stop speaking to him or else not allow me to see him. (This happened once before).

Should my family control who I date because I live with them even though I am legally an adult?
