New abortion laws affecting even ectopic pregnancies...

I have done a lot of research on these new abortion laws and it terrifies me. They could not find my baby's heartbeat with an ectopic pregnancy that implanted in my right fallopian tube. But if they had then what? With these new laws, would me having removed my ruptured fallopian tube and internal bleeding in order to SAVE MY LIFE have been considered an abortion? There's these new heartbeat laws stating that even for medical reasons a woman would not be able to have an abortion as long as there is a heartbeat. And I'm terrified for all of us. I'm lucky enough to live in a state where this is not the case, but if I lived in one of the abortion ban states I would not even be ttc after my ectopic loss. I pray for our country and for all of those who are going to need emergency medical interventions due to medical conditions such as a ruptured ectopic pregnancy...
