Early miscarriage

So I found out on April 28th I was pregnant. I was three weeks late before it showed on a test. I did blood work on the 1st and it was 25 and then on the 3rd it went up to 69. I went to do another draw to see if they were still rising on the 8th. Before I even got a call back that day with my number I started bleeding around 11 that morning. My doctor called me around noon and said my numbers dropped to 9. He said I was miscarrying. This has been the hardest thing I've ever been through. I bled like a regular period from Wednesday around noon til Saturday morning. My boobs don't hurt as much anymore but today I feel the cramping like I did when I found out I was pregnant and been nauseated some. Is this normal for after a miscarriage? Sorry for the long post.
