HARD?

Does anyone else out there think having twins is HARD? 
After my twins turned 2 I have just found it to be the hardest thing I’ve ever done!! Does anyone else feel this way? 
I really am starting to resent them for being twins. They are an unplanned natural pregnancy and I just don’t think I was ready for this but now I have no choice.

Absolutely. This was actually a text I just sent my husband today.

It's exhausting. I have one twin who is a bully. Always beating up on her sister. She's always climbing up the couch. I can't walk out of the living room into the kitchen for 2 seconds without her jumping up there. It makes getting housework done impossible. They're 15 months old, and to top it off they still don't sleep through the night. They're so exhausting, but they are the most amazing girls in the entire world.

I think being a mom in general is hard. We give up so much to take care of our mini humans. And the men just do not have the innate abilities to be selfless as we have to be. I absolutely love having twins and two daughters. P.s- my girls aren’t mobile yet haha. I’ll be back later with another opinion! 🤣

Years 2 and 3 were a nightmare for us. I can’t believe I made it through that actually. When they turned 4 it all changed and they are by far easier than my singleton friends kids. They’re almost 7 now and I am expecting just one baby and thinking how much harder it’s going to be without a playmate around all the time! Everything has its pros and cons and phases come and go, the good and the bad ones.

Yes. Having twins so far has been hard. I've heard it gets worse as they grow. I feel ya momma. Not exactly where you are at. I have two older singleton babies and I know from 2-4 is very hard. One day at a time! We can do this. 💪💪

My boys are 8 months old so it’s hard for me to envision more independent children being harder than 2  8 month olds that still won’t sleep through the night. I know with each stage is a different kind of challenge but damn I just want mine to sleep through the night already!

Yes, it’s definitely hard! I don’t know what that stage is like as mine are only 8 months, but I find that each new stage is challenging in its own ways. Mine have just stared crawling and are going everywhere in opposite directions at the same time, so I’m finding it hard managing both of them by myself most of the time.

I have a 1 year, 3 year old and "surprise!" Twins on the way (4 under 4) Lord help us all! As someone said, a mom in general is hard but these early days will go quickly (we may be too sleep deprived to remember lol) good luck to all the mommys out there ❤️ you are all amazing!

Girl ive got one 19 month old and its so fucking hard so i can only imagine how you feel, double hard!! I dont understand people who hope for twins, i would never! Im pregnant with my second my kids will be 2 years 3 months apart and im already terrified about being outnumbered when my husbands at work

I have 2 toddler boys 3 and 2 who just turned 4 and 3 and had twins september 2018. It’s the hardest job I have ever done in my entire life and I am so tired. I hope it gets easier in some ways

Maybe you should talk to a therapist who can help you cope with your emotions and give you tools to manage your boys.
I have 18m twin girls and they are a handful, but I feel the older they get the “easier” it is for me.
Still tough of course but now they are more independent, eat on their own, follow instructions..
I think a great book to read is “how to talk so kids will listen..” from Adele Faber.
