Okay so this is a piggy back off another post that really hit close to home for me.

When I was only a few months old, middle of summer, my dad picked me up from daycare. For some reason he and my mom switched cars, so now I was with my mom. She was going to the mall to pick up my baby pictures and she totally forgot that I was in the car by the time she got to the mall. She went in to get the pictures, but left me in the car since she forgot I was there. As she was walking to the exit of the mall she remembered I was in the car and straight panicked and booked it out to get me. She was maybe in there for a total of 10-15 minutes, but by the time she got to me I was screaming bloody murder and was completely red. It was a really hot day. She ran me into the mall for the AC and stripped me down to cool me off.

What is your reaction to hearing this story?

Luckily my mom remembered and got me cooled before I died.

Luckily for her, no one saw and called cps or the cops on her.

After reading all the comments on the other post of a mom who left her kids in her car with the AC on, I’m just curious how people will react to this story.

Everyone makes bad decisions, that’s one thing, but forgetting your child in the car, to me, seems unfathomable, but I also feel like my mom is not the only person in the world who has done this. Especially since I was such a calm and quiet baby.

If cps were to be called, do you think this is something that would have been forgiven?
