Everyone always say “if you have heartburn your baby will come out with a lot of hair!”
What seriously is the connection between the two?? 🤣🤣 we get heartburn b|c the baby is growing & pushing all of our insides upwards. So it makes sense now why you feel acid traveling up your chest/throat b|c your stomach is basically being smushed. 
Sorry. Now that I’m pregnant all of the old wives tales are soooooo annoying!!! Lol maybe I’m just taking the fun out of it & overthinking.

Old wives tales are annoying AF to me!!!!! Everyone told me I can’t be having a girl because I haven’t been sick, my face isn’t full of pimples, I’m not carrying high, I haven’t gained a bunch of weight, I don’t crave sweet things, and guess what.... she’s a girl!!!! 28 weeks and I haven’t had any of the “girl” symptoms

Nope, you’re good, there’s no correlation. Don’t feel bad if you’re more of a realist everyone’s different. The fun for me is understanding the science and facts behind what’s happening in my body. My eyes glaze over when people start talking old wives tales.

Ugh, I hate all of that stuff! I have a 4 year old and was arguing with people constantly about it not being a boy. We knew it was a girl (blood test confirmed!) and people insisted it was a boy. The way I was carrying, the way I looked...and now I’m having another girl and I’m getting the same thing. Both babies have cute little balls highs up, no heartburn with either one but the first was born with a head full of hair.

Some there are supposedly tiny correlations or maybe a  higher percentage of people may have a certain symptom with a certain gender. But I can tell you. With my first..a girl.. I had the easiest pregnancy ever! No sickness.. glowing..?? Or no acne skin issues.. I wouldn't have even known I was prego.
This time is a boy. It's been the worst! I had breakouts...rashes...sick the whole freaking time until 20 weeks and still sometimes sick... and exhausted 24.7. Energy just came back about 2 weeks ago. But on sure that'll fade again soon! Lol. So I'm all backwards according to the tales!! 
Anyway. Yeah they can def be annoying!!

There is no connection really!!! My first was born with only peach fuzz and I had heartburn like crazy!!!! Just depends on pregnancy and genes for the hair!
