Cutting baby hair?!?

My MIL was in town last weekend and told me I should trim my baby’s hair. She’s almost 8 months and has the most beautiful long curly hair. In the back it’s about 4” but it’s fairly even, not a mullet. Anyway, my MIL insisted it would grow better and thicker if I trimmed it. I said no way, but is this true?

I personally cut my kids hair, because its all baby hair, eventually it will start getting stringy and the ends. But its up to you. Your the mom. Do what you feel comfortable with.

I don’t know about others, but my mom cut my hair when I was still really little and my curls never really came back. The same with a couple of my siblings. I think it’s ultimately up to you. You’re the mom, not her

It would grow bc when you cut anyone’s hair it helps it grow but it would probably ruin the curls
