Sickness while preggo??

I’m at FTM, 30 weeks. For 2 days now I’ve had a really bad sore throat and ear aches. Usually I’d just live with it until it went away but I honestly don’t know if having a cold is a problem while you’re pregnant.. should I talk to my dr? Or is it okay to just dust it off?

It’s okay to have a cold and pretty normal considering your immune system is down from the pregnancy. I’d definitely let your doctor know though just in case because it can develop into more than a cold. I thought I was getting a cold and currently on antibiotics for ear infection 😖 i can’t even hear right now because I held off so long.

I always get sick within the last month and a half before my due date. Just talk to your doctor. They may be able to prescribe you something.

A cold is fine while pregnant, it just sucks to not be able to take anything. Just keep and eye on it and make sure it doesn’t feel like it’s getting worse and turning into something like bronchitis. I had really bad bronchitis with my first and had to be put on antibiotics.
