Baby eye color?

Question

My babys eyes in person are a dark grey blue( but to me look greenish) and was wondering if they are going to change and what they could possibly turn to.
I have brown eyes and his daddy has a bright blue. I know that brown is often dominant but if his eyes were going to be brown wouldn't they have been brown at birth? (Mine were but I'm also biracial if that has anything to do with it) However the nurses took some pictures of him and in the pictures they look brown.
Any ideas??

My husband has brown eyes and Mine are lighter blue. Our son was born with super dark blue eyes and now at almost 9 months are this color.

Mine and my husbands both are dark brown my 18 month olds eyes are as blue as can be no sign of changing!

And my daughter ..... our pediatrician said they will stay light but like I said in my previous post I see more brown in them everyday (7 months)

My first two turned brown pretty quickly after birth. When they were 5-6 they somehow turned hazel (dad and I both have really dark brown eyes but sometimes his are hazel ). My third had green/grey until 10 months and now they are dark brown.  Our baby girl still has bright blue eyes and she’s 7 months old so it’s too early to tell. They say if you look at their eyes from the side in the sun if there is any golden color they will eventually turn brown

My daughters eyes were blue her first year, then turned to a hazel with more green than brown for 2 years..then bam, they're now brown. However, in the light you still see a blue ring around the brown & green in the middle..it's so weird lol

I read online that Caucasian babies can take up to a year for their eyes to change to their permanent color.

My mom has bright blue eyes and my Dad’s are brown. My eyes are extremely green if that helps 😬

Babies are often born with blue (or other light colored eyes) because the pigment hasn’t fully developed yet. Permanent eye color usually happens around a year old I believe

My husband has light brown eyes and I have green. My sons eyes have changed a bit and it looks like they’re turning green now (he was born with blue eyes and they stayed that way until he over 2 years old). My daughter is 15 months and still has blue eyes.  Your eyes can change at any point in life though. Mine were blue at birth, hazel as a kid and now green.
