Relationship Help

Hi everyone, I’m Oscar and want advises/opinions on a situation I have.

I being dating my gf for 7 years now. We meet in middle schools and basically grew and mature together. I finished University about a year ago and work full-time for a corporation. I got the job with an agency since it’s so hard to find a job now a days. That being said, I make very little money. Enough to pay for bills and student loans. I still leave with parents. My gf is now going to study to a different school to become a dental hygienist. She keeps asking that she wants to get married. Today we got in a huge fight because I said I can’t at the moment I’m not financially stable and you need to finish school. She going to a school down south of Illinois and there is no jobs for my career. I’m in the IT field and that area its a college town and not many jobs.

Am I doing wrong for telling her I can’t marry her at the moment. I don’t want her to stop going to school so we can move in and get marry. I’m working hard to move up and get a better paying job?

I just not sure if it’s selfish of me or wrong?
