Camping pregnant?

Ok lady’s so my dad is planning a camping ⛺️ trip on June 29th I’m extremely excited for it as I’ve never been camping before but I’ll be 15 weeks pregnant 🤰 when I do go my question is..is it safe? Has any one done it before if so how was your experience I will also be asking my doctor for it’s opinion

Camping and pregnancy are ok! You might want a blow up mattress to sleep on since pregnancy sleep sucks. Also wear insect repellent to protect yourself from West Nile virus... I used an old natural one since ddt and harsh chemicals aren’t the best thing to use when pregnant. I found some nice stuff in baby isle to keep bugs off. 
But camping isn’t a problem! You might get hot so bring a fan depending on your weather. 
If they catch fish to eat just clean the fish out well and cook to right temp ( I personally don’t eat wild fish from lakes). But camping is fun!! There’s lots of cool stuff out there to make camping even easier so that your not really ruffing it.

Not sure where you’re located but if you’re in an area where ticks and Lyme disease are prevalent, wear breathable long sleeves and pants to keep your arms and legs covered. Consider mosquito netting to keep your sleeping area covered. And wear a pregnancy safe bug repellant. Have fun!

I went camping at 30 weeks pregnant. I ended up sleeping in the truck because it was uncomfortable on the air mattress but other than that it was so much fun
