How often should you make love?

This is my first month TTC of what’s likely to be several years of painful struggle because of the vasectomy my DH’s ex wife made him get. We haven’t started researching doctors for a VR (reversal) yet because he has been busy starting a new business that opens in June. But my IUD came out last month, and on my end the factory is open.

How often do you guys make love during your fertile periods, and for how many days of it? Is more sex necessarily better? Is every day about normal?
