Push present ? Yay or nay

I'm pregnant with my first child and gor on the topic of push presents... I was wondering what the general consensus is.. do you feel we deserve one? or is it an over the top idea to get another gift?

It’s a sweet thought but with the baby bills that are happening I’d rather pay those off and have peace of mind and financial freedom. Just me though.

My boyfriend wants to get me something since I've put my body through so much while carrying our son (gestational hypertension and gestational diabetes). I don't think it's necessary, I just want him to be there the whole time in the hospital and help me through the delivery. I don't think push presents are necessary, but it's sweet if the guy gets you a gift on his own without feeling pressured to do so. I think if he needs to be pressured or if the woman expects it, it takes away from the meaning of it.

Necessary? Absolutely not. A nice thought? Sure. I think my husband gets the present, though, as his birthday is just a few days before our due date.

I think it's ridiculous. For me the kids were more precious than any gift I could have gotten. Also, having s child is expensive, all those new things you have to buy. There wouldn't even be money left over for a push presents in most households lol

My husband wrote me a sweet note telling me how proud he was of me and how thankful he was for our little family. He left it on my pillow for when we got home. I’d rather have that than a gift any day :)

Lol no I had an extremely hard pregnancy and an extremely traumatizing emergency c section where my daughter should of ended up a vegetable spent 4 days on a ventilator, couldn’t hold her till she was 5 days old, 2 weeks in the NICU, a brain injury and etc... ain’t no gift good enough to top my daughters life in my opinion

My husband got me a neckless with my first and ring & flowers with my second now with my third Ive been telling him not to lol im trying to save!! but I will take some chocolate 😌💜
