Does anyone here wear contacts?

It’s my first day in contacts & my vision is blurry & it burns. 
Is this normal ?

No - take them out and make sure they aren't flipped inside out.

Also when you take them out rinse them with some saline really good. Debree can make them feel irritated, and sometimes the liquid in a new pack will burn for me so I clean them with the stuff I'm used to instead.

Did you get them straight out the pack or having they been setting in some kind of solution overnight.  Used to work for an eye doctor and when you put your contacts on, you shouldn't be able to feel them at all.  That's one of the ways we could tell it was a proper fit.  
Solution-wise, I highly recommend Bio-true or Opti-free.  Anything else burns my eyes and I can't used the off brand contact solution. 
The blurriness however is confusing me because your doctor should have addressed that during the contact fitting.  Were there any problems with your vision during the contact fitting?

Did you use hydrogen peroxide and not make sure that it sat for 7+hours? Or maybe your eyes are reacting to the contact solution you are using? I have to use the Walmart brand because if I use any other brand they make my eyes red and burn. Just to add another suggestion other that those already given.
