What are you all calling your child’s legal guardian?

Not sure if this is where I should be asking but figure it’s a place to start 🙂

What is everyone calling their childs legal guardian?

I personally don’t know any other terminology other than legal guardian or Godparent but ‘legal guardian’ doesn’t roll off the tongue as well as ‘godparent’ BUT my husband and I are not religious so people get confused and also for us saying ‘godparent’ just doesn’t feel quite right.

Are there other terms you all use for the title of legal guardian of your child in case both you and your partner croak before they turn 18?
