Kind of a long story would love advice

Okay so my husband is a police officer he worked nights (6pm-6am) for two years, they put him on days for 6 months then he switches back. We just got married about a month ago, we want a baby he just is worried we don’t have enough money saved, he’s always worried about money (rightfully so) but we have over 6 months of living expenses in our savings and we just bought a house.. I’m worried though if he goes back on nights we will not have any time to try for a baby.. so the option is to start trying now, or to wait. My mom says we should be married a year, idk I’m worried about judgements.

I’m just worried we’re gonna end up waiting a little while and then we won’t have a great chance of getting pregnant cause we will only have 1-2 nights together once he’s back on nights... any ideas or opinions? Would be greatly appreciated!
