Ttc with provera

So yesterday my doctor placed me on provera so af can start. I haven’t had a real period all year just spotting here and there. I took one pill yesterday and one this afternoon. we have also decided that we will undergo our first iui after two rounds of provera BUT today for the first time ever I received a really strong positive on my ovulation test. Can it be from the provera or am I finally ovulating? Do I stop the provera in hopes to get pregnant or do I just wait it out ? 😓
