I feel so smug 😂😂

My mother in law really gets on my nerves. She’s the type of woman who has done everything better! If you’ve done something...she’s done it too in the past. If you’ve gone somewhere nice...she’s been there twice! Even if your I’ll...she’s worse. And she tried taking over my pregnancy BIG time! Even tried taking over my baby at first. She bought things for herself that normally only parents would have. Like she bought a keepsake box for baby’s first tooth and baby’s first hair clipping. Wtf?! Anyway when my baby was born I made a secret little vow to myself that she would NOT be in my house every single day like she planned! My baby is not her baby and she can back the fuck off! I don’t mind once or twice a week but not everyday. Yesterday she came over, I showed her the weaning set I’ve bought ready for when baby starts solids..she actually gave me a look of disgust because she wasn’t the first to buy those items 😂 that woman is in constant competition with me over MY baby it’s ridiculous 😂everything I buy she’s like ‘oh I was gonna buy that’ or ‘I’ve been looking at those’ so when she held my baby yesterday she was doing all sorts to get my baby to smile at her...my baby just looked at her and cried. And although it’s not nice to see your baby cry it was music to my ears because she doesn’t like the old bag either 😂 that’s my girl 👏🏻 as soon as my baby saw my face she was beaming with a huge smile and I felt so smug because I know it pissed my mother in law off. Petty? Maybe but that woman is in her 50s and likes to play childish mind games....if you can’t beat them, join them 😂
