Maternity Pictures?

My hubby and I wanted to go to the beach to take maternity pictures we have a really beautiful location in mind but recently its been getting up to 100 degrees and i’m 32 weeks I cant take it! Its killing me I want to just do a belly casting instead (i’m doing it regardless) but my hubby really wants to take these pics. Could we take them on our phones or is that not good enough? Anyone else took perfect pictures off their phones rather than a nice camera and paying someone?
