Sooo ladies?

So I have super irregular periods , and this app says my period is late by like 7 or 8 days and this other app I use says i was supposed to start today, i took a pregnancy test that is supposed to detect 5 days earlier than missed period ... and I saw the faintesssttt line , i don't want to believe it is a line if maybe my mind is playing tricks on me .. is it possible maybe I ovulated late or is it still early ? I'm confused .. should I test in a few more days? Suggestions?
