Hi everyone!

I rarely post on this app, but I really just want to share something I’ve been thinking about. Growing up, I always imagined that you just find your true love and it’s instant and everything comes easy. I quickly realized that’s not the reality after some pretty toxic relationships. I think movies and Tv shows “normalize” things being instant , and give young women, and men, this picture that isn’t what it is.

I have been with my boyfriend now for some time and I have to say that what we are now did not come natural, it was BUILT. It took work, it took patience, it took forgiveness, it took putting pride to the side, and it took a lot of conversations. You truly build from the ground up to become this strong couple. We are so strong today and he is my everything.

Just wanted to share that the reality of love, is building. 💕💕
