Growth Spurt??

What do growth spurts look like for your babies? Is there more sleep, less sleep? More eating, less eating? My little guy is 8 weeks old and all of the sudden I feel like I never know what he wants.. he is suddenly only nursing on one side for 6 minutes or less each feeding, which is significantly less than he was eating before. His naps have shorted from 1 hour to no more than 30 minutes. He's having an extra feeding at night and waking up super early. He's constantly upset and I'm just feeling like a terrible mom at the moment! I don't know how to help my baby anymore??
