Delivered in 4 minutes

I delivered my baby boy as a FTM on 11/05. The night before i was having loose stool all night and intense period-like cramps which would stop me in my tracks.

The morning after till about 12pm, i was still cramping but i wasnt sure if it was labour because what i had read about the onset of labour and what i was feeling was different so i called my doctor and she asks me to keep track of the cramps and come in when they were 20 minutes apart.

So at 3.15pm, my husband and arrived at the hospital and the midwife asks me to go to the delivery room (in my mind i was like 😟 , just like that? Im not mentally ready lol) so she checks me and i was totally dry down there and cheekily asked if i was sure i was in labour. She proceeds to check my cervix and i was 4cm dilated 😲. Things moved pretty fast afterward. Within the hour, i had my water manually broken(which brought me some kind of relief from the contractions and shortly after, i felt the urge to push.

It was the strangest feeling ever. I felt like i wanted to poo, but from my vagina (TMI, sorry lol)

After 3 or four pushes, i wanted to give up because i flet like my vagina was about to rip apart so i had an episiotomy, and after one push, the baby was out. All 3.1 kg /6.8lbs of him.

And just like that the snap of fingers, all pain of labor was forgotten.
