Blood clots?

Okay ladies! I’m somewhere between 5-8 weeks pregnant. This will be my first baby. I see my ob this next Friday as well as my first sonogram. (Nurse Appointment is on Tuesday) I didn’t take a picture, since I feel that’s a little gross, but I just went to the bathroom and then wiped. I had what appeared to be a blood clot. Just one and smaller than a dime. It also had some mucus type stuff with it. I’ve had some cramping lately, but nothing that would double me over or anything. I have miscarried before. I had a lot of bleeding and horrendous cramps then. I don’t feel like that now. I went to the lab Wednesday and yesterday (Friday) and they took blood to make sure my hcg levels were still increasing and such. I will get the results back on Monday, although I missed a call from my dr today. (I spoke with the nurse and she said it didn’t sound like anything bad since she told my dr I called back and the dr said to just call back Monday.)

Am I starting to worry over nothing? Or could this be something? I feel like I’m starting to lose my mind!
