Pillow?

My baby is 8 months old and loves sleeping with a pillow. I have heard they shouldn't sleep with one. My husband put it in the crib one day and now my baby actively looks for the pillow to sleep with it. Should I just let him sleep with it or is it really that bad?

This is so sweet!
Kids really shouldn’t have pillows until age two, and at that point they should be toddler pillows. They’re specially designed to ensure their neck/spine stay in alignment. Plus, all of the ppl who will tell you that nothing should be in the crib until they’re one (not me, not my business, especially bc that didn’t work for our family).
I think your best bet would be to talk to your pediatrician about it - bring the pillow along too. That way, you can discuss the best solution for your little one. Maybe it’s sneaking in the room after he falls asleep to remove it or maybe it’s to simply let him have it.
At the end of the day, do what works for your family and provides the best option for your baby. :)

My son is almost 2 and doesn’t have a pillow, but he uses a blanket which is also sometime a “no-no”. I’m scared of pillows lol but that is just me. Maybe he would like a similar textured stuffed animal?

Do what you need to my baby boys the same way. Try and get an extra firm one though
