Husband showing signs of ppd

I feel terrible for not seeing it sooner but my husband is showing signs of ppd and I'm not sure what to do. Our LO is 11 weeks and I go back to work tomorrow. He has 8 weeks paternity leave and is taking over and I noticed he was being distant tonight. He opened up and told me he wasn't looking forward to being home with our baby, he doesn't feel the baby likes him and doesn't want to be home with someone all day that doesn't care about him, etc etc. It got me thinking and all this time I've basically wanted to kill him for not stepping in and helping me with the baby more...he's usually a super thoughtful person and has just kinda been removed and living his normal life since we had a baby, hence the wanting to kill him. I told him to keep me informed of how he's feeling and I offered some advice but I'm not sure how to help him. Has anyone had a spouse struggle with PPD? I know he won't be open to seeing a doctor.
