Announcement timing

Hi ladies! I am currently 11+6 and had hoped to announce to family and work at 13 weeks earliest. However, due to my work schedule and our busiest/most demanding weeks are coming up... I feel like I need to let my work know. I want to announce to family first. Timing would make me 12+4ish and just before my next appointment. I am nervous to announce when I've only seen baby once. I have no reason to think something is wrong but am nervous. 1st baby! Is it okay to announce? Will I even learn much at my 12 week appointment?
