Ready for potty training?

My son will be 3 on the 22nd and I started potty training him this week. He stays dry throughout the night and during some outings to the store etc, he gets excited when he pees on the potty and I keep his diaper and pants off throughout the day and we have 0 accidents. The problem I’m having is how can I get him to TELL ME he has to go?

When my daughter was potty training around the age of 3 I would always tell her “make sure you tell mommy when you have to go potty.” Now she is going on 6 and can definitely use the potty herself, however makes sure to tell me every time she has to go even when we are at home 😂 be careful what you make them get used to doing!

Keep reminding him as you only just started potty training and he’s doing well 😊 he might not tell you at all he needs a wee especially at home, but will go himself once he’s used to using the potty. My youngest never really told me he needed toilet he just started to go to his potty or toilet by himself.. but once we was out the house I still had to remind him till he was abit bigger, then he would say he needed a wee..
