Tearing

Has anyone ever been told you didn’t tear when you actually did? I am two days post partum and I know things are bound to be uncomfortable but it burns so bad when I pee and I start bleeding and it’s a significant amount of blood. I took a mirror and looked at my poor kitty and I’m having some trouble being able to distinguish things but it looks like I have a decent sized tear that goes up the front. I have my follow up tomorrow so I hope I can get answers I just wanted some input
