2 week long miscarriage?

Has anyone had a similar experience? I am 6 weeks along but I have been cramping and clotting and bleeding for the last week. I went to the ER a couple of days ago and they said I have a threatened miscarriage and it has only gotten worse since then. However, my boobs still hurt and the intense bleeding and cramping is on and off, but when I do bleed it’s bad. I don’t know what to do here. I don’t see my gyno for another two weeks and I feel like I live in the ER. Next visit would be my fourth time at the hospital. Has anyone experienced a long, drawn out miscarriage? Or am I even having one? ER doctors have not helped me at all. I spend hours getting tests done only to be told that it could go either way. This is very frustrating and scary for me. Thanks

I'm just curious why you're going to the ER? They can't do anything for you other than give you pain meds if you need them.  I'm sorry you're dealing with that,  it sounds so stressful and painful. Hopefully it passes soon. 💜

I'm so sorry you are going through this. Not sure if there is one in yoir area but maybe call into Planned Parenthood and see if they do bloodwork there. Some locations do as that is how my best friend in college gor her pregnancy confirmed then sadly also her miscarriage confirmed. She couldn't afford a regular OB but Planned Parenthood works with people in those situations so might be an option until your insurance kicks in. I know when my husband put me on hisnit took like 6 weeks to be completed. Again sorry for your situation and hope it ends up being fine.

ER doctors won’t diagnose you. I was just shy of 7 weeks and I had heavy bleeding with clots. I went just to confirm it was a miscarriage. They did an ultrasound and bloodwork. All to tell me they didn’t see anything but I was so early on to just wait. So they didn’t confirm or deny 🤷🏻‍♀️ I KNEW I was having a miscarriage and I just wanted to confirm it wasn’t an ectopic. At least they ruled that out.
I would contact your OB and let them know. They will do bloodwork to ensure you’re numbers are going down and a possible ultrasound to make sure everything came out.

Call your doctor and let them know how your bleeding is going. You just have to wait it out and miscarry. It sounds like you are miscarrying and your appt in 2 weeks will be to confirm everything has passed. There’s nothing the ER can do for you to make it stop, unfortunately.

I was bleeding before I even knew I was pregnant. Never heavy, but was daily. Found out about 5 weeks but continued to bleed for another 3. Hospital wouldn’t give me a scan or nothing. Basically was told to wait and see what happens. Eventually when I went, now bring around 8 weeks, and all they done a pregnancy test which was negative. A total shock to me as I done one the day before and it was positive. I never actually had my miscarriage however until a week later. Was very sudden and traumatic. It was such a horrible experience! At this point though, you just want to know either way. I’m sorry this is happening to you, hoping for a positive outcome. x

I had the same issue bleeding for almost a week and my ER told me I miscarried. But once I found that out I checked up with an OB and they told me over three visits that my hormone level kept rising slightly and then yesterday went in to an HCG level in the 400's. I would tell your OB that you might were told you miscarried and that you'd like to check up on things.
