My sweet baby Lillian Fay is here 2 weeks early😍
Last Wednesday after having sex with my husband I was having contractions for 6 hours, lasting about 45 seconds every 3-4 mins. L&D told me not to come in until they got more intense.
Last night we decided to try again, and I did start having cramps afterwards. This time instead of trying to sleep I got up and walked around my living room for about an hour before going upstairs to wake my husband. Once again they were about 45 seconds long, sometimes up to a minute and happening every 2-3 mins. They felt exactly like the week before, basically strong menstrual cramps and lower back cramps.
We weren't sure about heading in, so I decided to lay down and try to sleep. Not 2 minutes later I felt a pop and started GUSHING my waters. Contractions started around 11pm, water broke 1:15 am and baby was born at exactly 4:30am!
Everything happened so quickly, I had no idea what was going on. I didn't want the epidural, but the pain was getting intense very quickly so I did request the IV pain meds. Not long after I did change my mind and asked for the epidural, but they said I needed a bag of fluid before I could get it. Turns out she wanted to come NOW so I didnt have time to get any type of medication.
Later found out I wouldn't have been able to have the epidural anyway because my white blood cell count was too high, and my placenta was partially ruptured. The nurses told me afterwards that if my body hadn't labored as quickly as it did, both me and baby probably would have died😳😳😳
The whole process was very intense and scary (don't even get me started on the pain🤣) but I'm so grateful we're both doing great! They said we may even be able to leave tomorrow afternoon😁

And yes, I did poop infront of about 5 people but you honestly don't care at all😅
Lillian Fay, born June 4th 4:30am weighing 6lbs 6oz and 20 1/4 inches long😍
