Weird periods possible hormone imbalance

So my periods have been really off for the last 2.5 years (since I had my son). Now I’m TTC number 3 and am having difficulties in conceiving, I had a miscarriage back in February after a year of TTC and it devastated me. I thought that things may change period wise after my D and C, but 3 periods on and it’s exactly the same as before.

Basically my periods are fairy regular in that each cycle is between 30 and 33 days - never less or never more. But my actually bleed is where the problem is. I bleed for 3 days - not heavy, more like a medium flow, and then for the next 6/7 days I lightly spot. I didn’t think it was an issue at first, and thought that maybe it would right itself over time but it just hasn’t.

I have been referred to the miscarriage clinic but that’s not until September so I won’t be able to get proper answers until then. But I’d love to get pregnant before then.

If anyone else has ever gone through this I’d love to hear if there is something that can help or even know what outcome others have had, so I know what to expect in diagnosis.
