Am I ruining our bond?

Hi ladies.

So my sweet baby Roq is 10 weeks this coming Friday, and since he was 3 weeks old, I have had my mother (who I look very much like) watch him 3 days a week at my house for about 4-5 hours during the day while I went back to work, and occasionally babysat either on a Friday or Saturday night for 2-3 hours the most.

The rest of the days and weekends he’s with me or me and dad.

I’m getting fearful that my son may end up somehow confusing my mother and I and end up bonding closing to her.

My fiancé and I have a 3 day trip in July when he’s 4 months old and he will be staying at my house with my mother and grandmother (his great grandmother) and I’m not too sure if I should go. I’m worried he will feel as if I abandoned him and will grow even closer to my mother.

FYI, I want my mother to have a relationship with him, her & I are very close, I just of course, want my son and I to have our special mother-son bond.

In y’alls opinion am I jeopardizing my sons and mines relationship & bond? Will he still know me as mom?
