What are you all doing for baby’s 1st birthday?

We are torn! We really aren’t extra, we’re basic. 😂 
I love planning parties so I’m up for the task but truth be told, I’ve always found the big 1st birthday thing kind of stupid, but Now it’s here!
Space is an issue at our house. We can’t do it outside because we live in the desert. If our full guest list would come including kids we’d be 50+. 
My first born only turns one once right? Should I embrace it? Or make it special and intimate with people that truly participate in our lives?

Mine is in between 2 options, our families plus all our close friends, who all have children as well. I have an 11 year old from a previous marriage so all of our friends have older children with the exception a friend with older kids and an 18m old, then my cousin has a July baby as well. We are having at our house, pool party because we have an in ground pool and all the older kids will have something to do. My theme is “o-fish-ally one”. I bake cookies and cakes so I’m doing a smash cake, cookies, and bobber cake pops along with some goldfish crackers, Swedish fish, and gummy worms and drinks of some sort.

We are doing a family and close friends birthday party for my girl. But I’m going pretty big with mine haha. I love planning parties too! And she’s our one and only kid we’re having, so I’m going all out for this one, I don’t even care😂 
We’re lucky cause my hubbys parents have a HUGE backyard, and it fits perfect with our Bambi/woodland theme🦌🌳There’s likely gonna be about 30-40 people there. 
I figure I should enjoy being able to plan and go all out for this birthday, since from here on out she’s probably gonna tell me exactly what she wants for her parties. Ah the joys of having a Leo babe😆🦁

We were told we couldn’t have kids so we are going big for our little guy! Of course, my moms side is huge so that alone is a lot of guests. My husband works at our church and they have a banquet room so we are going to use that. I’m excited but sad that my baby is growing up 😭

We’re going pretty big! 😬😊 my husband is half Hispanic and on his mom’s side she is 1 of 12 kids, so it’s been a tradition to have ALL of them for baby’s first birthday- we did it with our other 3! So, we’ll have his family, my family and all our friends.
We moved into a new house about a year ago and we have a fenced in yard with natural shade and deck, so I don’t have to rent a venue! Super excited!!

We are having 2 for my little guy. One in India with my in laws (going to be like 300 people) and then one when we get back with people here in the states (11 people) I'm not being giving a chance to decide things in India so I'm doing a dr suess one here😊

We’re throwing my boy a big, Mickey Mouse themed party.  My husband and I both have big families and lots of friends.  He’s our first, and we tried desperately to have him for three years, so I am doing it up big!  We also just bought our first home so now that we have a backyard we’re doing the party there with a tent.  He is probably going to be our only baby, and he only turns 1 once!  After this we’ll probably just do cake with close family.

We're doing a mainly family party but my best friends are driving down from Vegas to us for his party too! We're doing a beach ball theme and aren't really expecting any other kids besides my cousin's daughter who is 3 on July 27th and my son is 1 on July 30th!😍I got a blow up pool with a slide from Walmart that I think will be fun for them!

On her actual birthday it will just be her, me and dad and we plan on taking her to the zoo. For a party we will just have family and close friends but since we are moving the week of her birthday the party wont be for a couple weeks after her birthday😕

We’re doing family and close friends and that ends up being over 50 people 😂🤦🏽‍♀️my sister has 4 kids and my husband sister has 5 so that’s 9 kids alone not including our other siblings, our parent and also our friends . Never a dull party with our family’s 😂it’s going to be Elmo themed because that’s my baby’s favorite show

I'm a FIRM believer that one size DOESN'T fit all so do whatever you want! If you want a big party, DO IT! If you want it small, do that. Ignore what other people's opinions are and have fun(whatever that may look like for y'all)! 🎉
