How many oz of breast milk?

My baby is 2 weeks 2 days old. Tonight we had daddy feed her a bottle of breast milk and she drank the 2.5 oz but seemed hungry still so I just put her on the boob and she had a normal length feeding and even seemed ravenous! How many oz do babies need at this age?

My baby eats 2.7 he is 2weeks and 5days old. Every baby is different. And that amount is normal :)

My Lactation Consultant informed me that at this age it’s normal for my baby (also 2 weeks old) to eat anywhere between 3-4 ounces per feed, even if it’s every 2 hours. Apparently babies hit a growth spurt between days 7-10 and then at 2 weeks. As long as your baby isn’t projectile vomiting it back up, you are in the clear and doing well.
