Eating the strawberry and the leaves?

Question

So while at dinner my boyfriend ate the entire strawberry like leaves and all and we got into a debate whether you should eat the leaves at the top of strawberries or not and I wanted you guys opinion

I don’t eat the leaves but I wouldn’t call it dirty. If you wash the strawberry then it should be clean. I know some people who eat the skin of kiwis

I personally wouldn’t but there’s no harm in doing so. I had a cat that loved eating strawberry leaves. 😂

Sometimes I eat the leaves on my strawberries but not that often. I also eat  peanuts in the shell (mmm— the shell is so salty) and sometimes I eat the shells on my shrimps too— but only if the shells have been sautéed in some sort of salty garlicky yumminess 🤤.. or if they’ve been thrown on the grill 🤤. 
I know some people will find this weird and so know it’s different and not the norm... but hey, it’s me 🤗🤷🏻‍♀️.
